Dr. Bard is an Assistant Professor of medicine and faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine. He was the Residency Director of the Internal Medicine program from 2002-2008. He loves teaching and has been honored with both the London Award for Teaching and the R.A Obenour Excellence in Teaching awards.
He completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center in 1994, and graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas in 1991, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
His professional interest include consultative and preventive medicine.
He enjoys travel, music, reading and family activities with his wife and three children.
